Please be advised that at 3:00 p.m. on October 14, 2024, the Combat Sports Authority of Maine will hold a public hearing on proposed Chapter 2 of Muay Thai rules. Hearing will be held in the Pine Room of the Westbrook Community Center, 426 Bridge Street, Westbrook, Maine. You may attend hearing and provide comments in person. You may provide written comments by U.S. Mail or electronic mail to addresses on the attached Fact Sheet. Written comments must be received no later than October 28, 2024

 

Combat Sports Authority of Maine Mission Statement

The Combat Sports Authority of Maine (CSAM) was established by the Legislature in June 2009 (H.P. 751, L.D. 1089) to ensure that all Mixed Martial Arts and Professional Boxing exhibitions, events, performances and contests are subject to an effective, safe and efficient system of strict control and regulation.  
    
  The Board's main purpose is to protect the safety and well being of all participants and promote the public confidence and trust in the regulatory process and conduct of Combat Sports in Maine.
